Happy Black History Month and welcome back to FREEda's World! Season 2. Ep. 1 is in full effect! Thank you all so much for tuning in. We truly appreciate your love and support! For some reason, many of you are out here discouraged that it's now February and you have not put any ink to paper. The year JUST started folks! Listen as I give a few tips on how to over come the frenzy and get control of your year! This week's FREEda Woman of the week is one of our foremothers Catherine Flon. Catherine made history when she sewed the first Haitian Flag in 1803. This flag is the symbol of Haitian Independence and to this day on May 18. Haitians all over the globe celebrate flag day in honor of this amazing woman. We salute you Catherine! You are not forgotten!
