Some of you maybe asking yourselves, "where did Ritha go?" On this episode, I talk about where I have "been", my current mental space and being in the "dark" place. We all have our moments where we struggle with self acceptance and belonging. I think that it is important for people to be transparent about their journeys. I will always say this, Instagram is a liar, and although many of us are not actually stunting and fronting on the gram, it’s all about perception. That picture of you at the beach smiling tells people that you are living it up. Meanwhile you are dying inside. You never know who is watching and listening. But more importantly, you never know who you might be saving with your story.
Call to action: Be honest about your journey. Share not only your successes, but also your losses. Strive to motivate and inspire rather than be popular.
