FREEda's World

Dec 5, 2019

December 4th a Queen was born. It's me, I am the Queen lol. I thank God for allowing me to see another year. There are so many  people who do not have this opportunity and for this I am grateful.

I am a BIG birthday person. My love for birthdays is a result of spending many birthdays alone. Often times my birthday was forgotten and I would bake my own cake and sing happy birthday to myself.  As soon as I became of age, I began celebrating my birthday every year to the fullest extent of my pockets.

However, ironically enough. As excited as I was/am for my bday, I begin to feel withdrawn, sad and defeated I’m the days leading up. Why? I can only attribute this to some form of birthday blues. In my conversations with random friends and acquaintances, I have come to find that this birthday blues thing is a real thing. It’s not just me (thank God). Tune in as I talk about the birthday blues and how I have tried to overcome this weird phenomenon each and every year.
